Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are essential in my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tried.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by the robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition it's not as efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, must be replaced periodically too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro

However, if you do select this option, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of debris and dust that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps this robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
